someone pointed me to this blog ...
curious and genius indeed!

http://kweaking.blogspot.com/2010/03/1st-form-to-explore.html

guess i picked this idea from our common databank - the noosphere?
i channeled "on the void" and allowed myself to give 9+1 labels to the "9 daya of the kweek" ...

i envision this concept within the calendar of 13x28+1(+1) daya a year: 365 a year and 366 a leapyear ...

consider those daya as guidance:
28th daya of a moon is a subgridday
365th daya of a year is a gridday
1461th daya of 4 years is a supergridday

Last day is baptized into february 29 as the poe-ular day that confirms 28days a moon as standard!
(only the vatican lives on this natural calendar?! whY?!)

If you cannot make the cultural leap to a nine day week, you can always the QE Staffing and Scheduling Methods that is even a better productive method than Dr. Varsavsky's plan.

Hi Bruce,

I could not read your plan, as I need to sign up with your site. Good to know people are working on this idea.

Hi Jai!

For the last 2 years (since Feb. 2008), I have been trying to promote various derivatives of the 9-day week where employees would work 6 of the 9-day pattern. I had thought my work was original until I stumbled upon Dr. Varsavsky's work late last year and it seems New Zealand may be embarking on something related. In general, Dr. Varsavsky's basic structure is only one of my five proposed ALTERNATIVE WORK SCHEDULES.

My problem so far has been that I can't get anyone in a higher up management position to really consider what I'm calling "THE 999 PLAN". The biggest issue for me has been one of promotional and advertising resources and my own lack of experience in this field. However, I openly welcome anyone and everyone to assist me, and I am offering significant financial incentives for people to do so.

Please check out and join the social network I also created to disclose this concept and PLAN at: http://www.the999plan.ning.com nad be sure to pass this along to all your contacts.

I look forward to hearing back from you in the near future!

Sincerely,
Bruce
